As of September 26, Russian agrarians continued harvesting grains and pulses. Agrarians harvested grain crops throughout the general areas of 41.6 mln ha (on the same date in 2015 — 36.9 mln ha), or 88.1% of the planned areas (47.3 mln ha). The produced volumes reached 109.2 mln tonnes of grains, with the average yield of 2.62 t/ha (in 2015 – 90.2 mln tonnes with the yield of 2.44 t/ha), reported the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
In particular, agrarians harvested winter and spring wheat throughout 26.1 mln ha (94.2% of the plan). The produced volumes reached 73.9 mln tonnes, with the yield of 2.83 t/ha.
Russia harvested 18.6 mln tonnes of winter and spring barley throughout 7.9 mln ha (94.8%). The average yield totaled 2.35 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested corn for grain throughout 570.8 thsd ha (19.7%), and produced 3 mln tonnes of the grain, with the average yield at 5.23 t/ha.
Russia harvested 290.3 thsd tonnes of rice throughout 46.3 thsd ha (22.4%). The average yield totaled 6.28 t/ha.
Russian agrarians continued the sunflower seed harvesting campaign. Agrarians harvested 2.7 mln tonnes of the oilseed throughout 1.4 mln ha (18.5%). The average yield totaled 1.96 t/ha.
Also, Russia harvested rapeseed throughout 683.4 thsd ha (68.7%), and produced 867.4 thsd tonnes of the oilseed, with the average yield of 1.27 t/ha.
Also, agrarians started harvesting soybeans: the harvested areas reached 540.3 thsd ha (24.7%), the produced volumes – 1.05 mln tonnes, the average yield – 1.95 t/ha.
Russia harvested flaxseed throughout 40.6 thsd ha only, or 84.3% of the planted areas.
As of September 26, Russian agrarians planted winter crops for the harvest-2017 throughout 10.8 mln ha, or 62% of the planned areas (in 2015 — 10.1 mln ha).
