In the current year, buckwheat stocks in Russia will significantly exceed the level of consumption, declared the President of the Russian Grain Union, Arkady Zlochevsky on October 26.
According to him, to date the grain production volumes already reached 960 thsd tonnes.
Therefore, the production of buckwheat groats will total nearly 700 thsd tonnes, while the annual domestic requirements total 500 thsd tonnes, said A.Zlochevsky.
