According to the monitoring figures by APK-Inform Agency, most agricultural producers of the Crimea reported about good condition of winter barley areas in the region.
Also, respondents estimated the existing weather conditions in the region as quite optimum for the current period of year, which contribute to further development of grain crops. At the same time, agrarians stressed that winter barley areas started sprouting or tillering depending on the planting campaign terms.
At the same time, nearly 10% of the questioned agrarians estimated the condition of winter barley areas as satisfactory.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, as of November 30 Crimean agrarians planted winter crops throughout 437.8 thsd ha (97.2% of the forecast).
