According to operative data of the customs statistics, in July-December period of 2016/17 MY Ukraine supplied 23.3 mln tonnes of grains on foreign markets, up 6.4% compared with the same period last season, informed the balance sheets of NGO "Economic discussion club", supported by the Interdepartmental working group under the Ministry of Economic Development of Ukraine.
In particular, the export volumes of wheat reached 11.9 mln tonnes (up 10.5%), barley – 4.35 mln tonnes (up 10.4%), corn – 6.9 mln tonnes (down 1.7%), oats – 24 thsd tonnes, and other grains – 128 thsd tonnes.
The potential volume of grain exports in January-June period of the current MY totals 20.346 mln tonnes.
It is noted that "Economic discussion club" estimates the general export potential of grains in the current MY at the level of 43.654 mln tonnes.
