On March 5-6, the international conference KAZAKHSTAN TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS FORUM 2024 (Rixos Astana Hotel) will be held in Astana, which will become a platform for discussing the main priorities of the logistics industry in Kazakhstan and the dialogue between cargo owners and logisticians.
The two-day forum will be full of not only a business program, but also networking.
The program of the first day, March 5, will feature 3 thematic sessions:
Session 1: Transit potential and infrastructure development in Kazakhstan
Session 2: International railway transportation: new services and routes
Session 3: Digitalization and transformation of services and routes
Particular attention will be paid to discussing the current state and prospects for the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route, which will be held in the format of a panel discussion moderated by Kanat Kobesov, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of NurZholCompany LLP, Chairman of the Board of the National Association of Exporters "KazGrain".

The organizers also focused the program on the main export directions of Kazakhstan’s raw materials, including coal, iron ore, grain and petroleum products, their impact on the development of transport infrastructure and mechanisms for attracting additional cargo traffic. A special session will be devoted to these issues, the speaker of which will be Nurlan Igembaev, Deputy General Director for Logistics of Kazphosphate LLP, President of CILT Central Asia. Madina Akhmedzhanova, Director, Kusto Logistics, will also address this issue in her report “Export of grain products in containers, prospects for containerization of Kazakhstan’s exports.”
On the second day, March 6, forum participants will be able to take an excursion to the Translogicom LLP terminal and get acquainted with a presentation of the work of a private station for cargo transshipment (truck/container, wagon/container). After the excursion, a presentation and acquaintance with the International Association of Entrepreneurs KIT (300+ residents, 90% are business owners from the industries of logistics and export, construction, education, retail and others) and a presentation on attracting direct investment from Serikov Alemkhan, CEO/CIO, ALEM is planned INVEST GROUP.
