In 10 days, on June 7, the third international oil and fat conference "FOC 2024: Fats and Oils Conference”. The event is organized by the National Oilseed Processors Association (NOPA), the general media partner is APK-Inform Asia, and the general sponsor is Myande Group, the largest manufacturer of high-tech industrial equipment.
The conference will bring together key experts and market participants. During the “FOC 2024: Fats and Oils Conference will address topical issues of the industry development, from growing and processing of oilseeds to exports, government support and logistics.
The conference will be attended by top speakers of the oil and fat industry and representatives of government agencies.
They have already confirmed their participation:
- Kairat Torebayev, Vice-Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, will present a report “Development of Kazakhstan's trade policy on export of non-resource goods in the medium and long term”.
- Yadykar Ibragimov, Chairman of the Board of the National Association of Oilseed Processors LLP. The topic of his speech was “Oil and fat industry of Kazakhstan: prospects and challenges”.
- Farid Abitaev, Chairman of the Republican Chamber of Seed Growers of Kazakhstan, will talk about the development of seed production in Kazakhstan and the prospects for oilseed production in the face of climate change.
- Arman Yevniev, Chairman of the Board of the BIRGE Industry Cluster Development Association, will inform about the application of the project approach to the development of the oil and fat cluster in Kazakhstan.
- Andriy Kupchenko, Head of Business Projects at APK-Inform Agency, will present a report on “Ukrainian Sunflower and Sunflower Oil Market: Current Status and Prospects. Influence of geopolitical factors”.
- Vladimir Zhilin, Head of the Commodity Markets Analysis Department, Rusagro Group, will speak about the trends of the Russian oilseeds and oils market in the context of global conditions, and will give the forecasts for the season.
- Roman Romashkin, Deputy Director of the Eurasian Center for Food Security at Lomonosov Moscow State University. The topic of his presentation was “Customs and tariff regulation of the oil and fat market in the EAEU to ensure food security”.
- Almaz Zaripov, President of the Agrarian and Industrial Union of Kazakhstan, will speak about the digitalization of trade processes as a way to develop the agricultural market.
In addition to the presentations, the conference will offer active networking, discussions, acquaintances, discussions of industry problems and ways to solve them on the sidelines, conclusion of cooperation agreements and signing of contracts.
