As of August 3, Belarusian agrarians harvested grains and pulses (excluding corn, millet and buckwheat) throughout 883.2 thsd ha or 40.2% of the planned areas (2.196 mln ha), declared the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus. The production volumes reached 3.391 mln tonnes, with the average yield of 3.86 t/ha.
Particularly, agrarians harvested wheat throughout 283.2 thsd ha or 42.1% of the planned areas (672.1 thsd ha) and the output reached 1.222 mln tonnes, with the average yield of 4.31 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested barley throughout 169.1 thsd ha or 42.8% (359.6 thsd ha). The production volumes reached 726.9 thsd tonnes, with the average yield of 4.3 t/ha.
Moreover, the farmers harvested winter rye throughout 164 thsd ha or 45.4% (361.1 thsd ha), the output totaled 499.2 thsd tonnes, with the average yield of 30.4 t/ha.
As to winter rapeseed, it was harvested throughout 307.1 thsd ha or 98.5%. The output totaled 760.1 thsd tonnes, with the average yield of 2.48 t/ha.
