As of August 7, Belarusian agrarians harvested grains and pulses (excluding corn, millet and buckwheat) throughout 1.246 mln ha or 56.8% of the planned areas (2.196 mln ha), declared the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus. The production volumes reached 4.762 mln tonnes, with the average yield of 3.82 t/ha.
Particularly, agrarians harvested wheat throughout 416.4 thsd ha or 62% of the planned areas (672.1 thsd ha) and the output reached 1.794 mln tonnes, with the average yield of 4.31 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested barley throughout 226.1 thsd ha or 57.2% (359.6 thsd ha). The production volumes reached 936.2 thsd tonnes, with the average yield of 4.14 t/ha.
Moreover, the farmers harvested winter rye throughout 232.8 thsd ha or 64.5% (361.1 thsd ha), the output totaled 712.5 thsd tonnes, with the average yield of 30.6 t/ha.
