As of August 15, Belarusian agrarians harvested grains and pulses (excluding corn, millet and buckwheat) throughout 1.8 mln ha or 81.8% of the planned areas (2.196 mln ha), declared the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus. The production volumes reached 6.779 mln tonnes, with the average yield of 3.77 t/ha.
Particularily, Brest oblast provided the field works throughout 96.8% of the planned areas (326.9 thsd ha), Gomel oblast - throughout 90.7% of the planned areas (308.4 thsd ha), Grodna oblast - 91.3% (290.9 thsd ha), Minsk oblast - 87.2% (423 thsd ha), Mogilev oblast - 67.8% (228.1 thsd ha), Vitebsk oblasy - 58% (219 thsd ha).
