Belarus plans to plant 1.813 mln ha with winter crops in 2020, including 1.448 mln ha for winter grains and 347.6 thsd ha for winter rapeseed. In the structure of winter grains, wheat will be planted throughout 576.9 thsd ha, rye - 395.5 thsd ha, barley - 19.3 thsd ha, triticale - 456 thsd ha, informed the press-service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus.
Minsk oblast will plant winter grains throughout 430 thsd ha and winter rapeseed throughout 92 thsd ha that will be largest areas among all oblasts of Belarus.
Minsk, Vitebsk and Mogilev oblasts will start winter planting campaign on September 5.
