Farmers of Ukraine started harvesting sunflower seed and millet, informed the press-service of the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine on August 21.
Particularly, farmers of two oblasts harvested sunflower seed throughout 93.3 thsd ha or 1% of the plan. Production volume reached 149.9 thsd tonnes.
Farmers of five oblasts started harvesting millet. They provided field works throughout 6.7 thsd ha (4%). Production volume totaled 11.1 thsd tonnes so far.
