As of November 16, Belarusian agrarians harvested corn for grains throughout 173.4 thsd ha or 85.6% of the planned areas (202.5 thsd ha). The production volumes reached 1.197 mln tonnes with the average yield of 6.9 t/ha, declared the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus.
Overall grain harvest has reached 9.263 mln tonnes so far, with the average yield of 3.91 t/ha, up compared to the year ago figures (7.9 mln tonnes and 3.46 t/ha correspondingly).
Moreover, Belarusian farmers harvested sugar beet throughout 78.5 thsd ha or 95.9% of the planned areas (81.9 thsd ha). The production volumes reached 3.83 mln tonnes, with the average yield of 48.78 t/ha.
