Ukraine’s grain export in 2024/25 MY fall by 3 million tons compared to last year

According to the State customs service, as of April 2, 2024, Ukraine has exported 32.898 million tons of grains and legumes since the beginning of the 2024/25 MY, with 113,000 tons being shipped since the start of the current month, as reported by the press service of Ukraine’s Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.

By comparison, as of April 5 last year, the total export volume amounted to 36.028 million tons.

Specifically, as of the current season, Ukraine has exported:

- wheat – 13.19 million tons (compared to 14.228 million tons in the 2023/24 MY)

- barley – 2.213 million tons (1.973 million tons)

- rye – 10.8 thousand tons (1 thousand tons)

- corn – 17.007 million tons (19.533 million tons)

The total export of Ukrainian flour since the beginning of the season as of April 2 stands at 53.7 thousand tons (compared to 80.8 thousand tons in the 2023/24 MY), including wheat flour – 49.8 thousand tons (compared to 76.4 thousand tons).
