The logistical challenges currently faced by participants in Ukraine's agricultural sector in general and the fat-and-oil industry in particular are in the spotlight. The majority of industry representatives say that difficulties in the logistics of raw materials and finished products are among the top 3 factors hindering the recovery and further development of enterprises. With this in mind, the organizers of the XXII International Conference Fat-and-Oil Industry-2024 (October 30, Kyiv) have included a separate session in the program dedicated to the problematic issues of cargo logistics in the fat-and-oil industry.
As part of the logistics session, Ivan Pozdnyakov, Freight Broker and Leading Shipping Manager at Formag Group, will present an analysis of key challenges and trends in oilseeds logistics and focus on the prospects for the resumption of work of deep-water Ukrainian ports on the Black Sea.
Dmytro Dimchoglo, Deputy Director and co-founder of the Orlivka River Port, will speak in more detail about the opportunities and prospects for alternative export routes through small ports on the Danube.
Ksenia Tolstova, Business Development Director of Amadeus Marine, will focus on the problems, prospects and risks of transportation of vegetable oils and other oil and fat products by rail, in particular when exporting to the EU.
In addition, the conference will feature an interesting and informative discussion by logistics experts. This will be a great opportunity to get answers to the most pressing and problematic issues that arise during the transportation and export of products.
