Ukrainian grain exports in 2024/25 MY almost reach 24 mln tonnes

According to operational data of the State Customs Service, as of January 17, Ukraine has exported 23.904 mln tonnes of grain and leguminous crops since the beginning of the 2024/25 MY, of which 1.672 mln tonnes have been shipped since the beginning of this month, the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine reported.
At the same time, as of the same date last year, the total shipments amounted to 20.941 mln tonnes, including 2.475 mln tonnes in January.
In particular, since the beginning of the current season exported:
- wheat - 10.328 mln tonnes (in MY 2023/24 - 8.328 mln tonnes);
- barley - 2.008 mln tonnes (1.22 mln tons);
- rye - 10.8 thousand tons (1 thousand tons);
- corn - 11.153 mln tonnes (11.244 mln tonnes).
Total exports of Ukrainian flour since the beginning of the season as of January 17 are estimated at 39.4 thousand tonnes (62.1 thousand tons in MY 2023/24), including wheat flour - 36.1 thousand tonnes (59.1 thousand tons).
