In April, the average price of one ton of Ukrainian agricultural exports rose to $443, compared to $315 last year. This was emphasized by the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, Vitaliy Koval, according to the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.

"The price of one ton of Ukrainian agricultural exports has increased by 1.4 times. This was achieved due to the growth in exports of value-added products, particularly bioethanol," he noted.

According to the minister, the average prices for the top 5 export products per ton have also increased:

  • Sunflower oil – $1174, which is 37.8% higher than in 2024 ($852);
  • corn – $217, which is 27.1% higher than the average price in 2024 ($171);
  • wheat – $231, which is 27.4% higher than the average price in 2024 ($181);
  • poultry meat – $2385, which is 11.2% higher than the average price in 2024 ($2145);
  • ⁠soybeans – $409, which is 4.3% higher than the average price in 2024 ($392).

“Overall, since the beginning of the year, Ukraine's agricultural exports have amounted to $1.1 billion or 2.5 million tons. The Ministry of Agrarian Policy continues to work on diversifying sales markets and expanding the export potential of the processing industry,” V. Koval summarized.
