According to preliminary data from the State Customs Service, as of April 21, Ukraine has exported 34.451 million tons of grains and legumes since the beginning of the 2024/25 MY, with 1.627 million tons shipped since the start of this month, the press service of Ukraine’s Ministry of Agrarian Policy reported.
At the same time last year, as of April 25, total exports had reached 40.289 million tons.
Specifically, since the beginning of the current season, the following has been exported:
- wheat – 13,623 million tons (15.404 million tons in 2023/24 MY);
- barley – 2,247 million tons (2,178 million tons);
- rye – 10,8 thousand tons (1,2 thousand tons);
- corn – 18,067 million tons (22,231 million tons).
Total Ukrainian flour exports since the beginning of the season, as of April 21, are estimated at 57,000 tons (compared to 85,700 tons in the 2023/24 MY), including 52,900 tons of wheat flour (81,000 tons last season).
