In the first seven months of the 2024/25 MY (July-January), total exports of grain and oilseeds and processed products from Ukraine are estimated at $11 bln against $9.7 bln for the same period a season earlier. Such data was published on February 25 by the Ukrainian Grain Association on its Facebook page.
As noted, in the group of grain crops, corn exports in the above period are estimated at $2.412 bln (in July-January 2024/25 MY - $2.098 bln), wheat - $2.084 ($1.488 bln), barley - $350 ($212) mln.
As for oilseeds, shipments of soybeans and rapeseed increased to $909 ($718) mln and $1.452 ($1.145) bln in July-January of the current season, respectively, while sunflower seed exports decreased to $22 ($57) mln.
Also this season, Ukraine reduced sunflower oil exports to $2.701 ($2.777) billion and sunflower meal exports to $682 ($774) mln. Shipments of other vegetable oils also decreased to $393 ($438) mln.
