Ukraine is ready to continue exporting agricultural products under the "grain agreement", the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine said October 30.

"We would like to emphasize that the implementation of the "Initiative for safe transportation of grain and food products from Ukrainian ports" is exclusively humanitarian in its nature. That is why the Ukrainian party did not stop the corridor, even despite the Russian attacks on the port of Odesa on July 23 (the day after the signing of the "initiative") and September 23, as well as recent attacks on the energy infrastructure, which cut off power to the port infrastructure", – they said.

The Ministry of Infrastructure noted that since August 1, Ukraine had exported more than 9 mln tonnes of food, including more than 5 mln tonnes to the countries of Africa and Asia. As part of the UN’s World Food Program, 190 thsd tonnes of Ukrainian wheat were delivered to countries on the brink of famine.

"We emphasize that Ukraine remains a reliable partner for the civilized world and is ready to continue promptly shipping agricultural products to ensure global food security", – the ministry emphasized.
