All checkpoints now open on Romania-Ukraine border

On January 20, Romanian protesters unblocked all checkpoints on the border with Ukraine. This was reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

In particular, on the night of January 20, the movement of trucks through the Porubne-Siret checkpoint resumed.

"On January 20, at 00:30, representatives of the border police of Romania received information about the termination of the protestors' blocking of the movement of freight vehicles through the Porubne-Siret checkpoint," the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine said in a statement.

At 1:20 p.m. on the same day, representatives of the Border Police of Romania announced lifting the traffic blockade for trucks in the direction of the Dyakovo-Halmeu checkpoint.

The blocking of the checkpoint "Krasnoilsk-Vikovu de Sous" was stopped a day earlier. The indicated three checkpoints had been completely blocked from the Romanian side for the movement of cargo vehicles for more than a week.
