Last week, rapeseed prices in Ukraine's market reached their highest level in years, primarily driven by strong demand for oilseeds and rising prices at ports in the first half of the period.
It is noted that processors' asking prices started at 19,000 UAH/t CPT, but market operators reported that actual purchase prices reached 20,800-22,000 UAH/t EXW and 22,500-23,000 UAH/t CPT.
In the export sector, the highest asking prices for Ukrainian rapeseed reached 490-510 USD/t and 23,500-23,800 UAH/t delivered to port.
In the second half of last week, the domestic market was pressured by the export sector, where prices dropped by 20-25 USD/t.
