Last week, the Ukrainian rapeseed market experienced slight price fluctuations due to low trading activity for the old crop and an almost complete lack of supply.
Demand prices from export-oriented companies mostly remained within the range of 22,500–23,500 UAH/ton EXW.
Processor demand was weak, with only a few companies engaged in rapeseed processing.
Forward contract sales for the new crop also remained moderate due to high market volatility and unattractive demand prices.
Key influencing factors included the expected lower rapeseed harvest in Ukraine in 2025, an even sharper decline in Europe, as well as global rapeseed price fluctuations driven by tariffs and uncertainty surrounding Canadian canola supplies.
