As of November 9, Ukraine collected grains and pulses from 9.84 mln ha (90% of the plan). With the yield of 5.21 t/ha the total harvest reached about 51.275 mln tonnes. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine based on harvesting campaign data.
Particularly, as of reporting date, farmers continue collecting:
- corn – from 2.93 mln ha (72% of the plan), yield – 7.24 t/ha, production – 21.22 mln tonnes;
- buckwheat – from 139.2 thsd ha (98%), yield — 1.49 t/ha, production – 206.7 thsd tonnes;
- millet – from 79 thsd ha (95%), yield — 2.26 t/ha, production – 178.9 thsd tonnes.
Oilseeds harvesting also continues, in particular of:
- sunflower seeds – from 4.91 mln ha (97%), yield — 2.35 t/ha, production – 11.52 mln tonnes;
- soybeans – from 1.79 mln ha (99%), yield — 26.3 t/ha, production – 4.71 mln tonnes.
As of the beginning of November, Ukraine harvested a total of 71.52 mln tonnes of grains and oilseeds.
Sugar beet harvesting continues – as of November 9, 10.1 mln tonnes from 211.3 thsd ha (85%) were harvested, with a yield of 47.79 t/ha.
