On April 16, the international conference “Baltic Grains & Oils Conference” has started in Riga. The conference is organized by APK-Inform, with LAT FLEX SIA as the general sponsor.

 The largest agriforum gathered around 200 delegates from 22 countries: key players in the agricultural products and logistics markets from Europe, the Black Sea region and Asia.

The first day, April 16, is traditionally dedicated to sessions. Topics will include trends and prospects in global agricultural trade (grain and oilseed markets), logistics of agricultural cargo, the vegetable oils market, and meal markets.

Among the speakers at the “Baltic Grains & Oils Conference” are Monica Totova, Chief Economist at FAO, Filippo Bertuzzi, Senior Market Analyst at the Italian company Areté (Agrifood Intelligence Company), Ansis Zeltiņs, CEO of Riga Freeport, Rodion Rybchynskyi, Director of the “Millers of Ukraine” Association, Daulet Uvashev, Director of Harvest Kazakhstan, Yadykar Ibrahimov, Chairman of the National Association of Oilseed Processors (NOPA), Bohdan Kostetsky, Operational Partner at Barva Invest, Svetlana Kirichok, Oilseed Market Analyst at APK-Inform, Anastasia Radyuk, Protein Partnership & QM Manager at the Danube Soy Association, and others.

On the second day, on April 17, conference participants will visit the key infrastructure facilities of the Port of Riga, located at the crossroads of the main East-West and North-South transit corridors. The tour partner is Rīgas Universālais Termināls.
